[Tried & Tested] Sk-II Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil

Hi Huneybees,

This gift from SK-II came at the right time. It was as though they knew I was running out of makeup remover. Hehehehe... I have now changed my cleansing routine and it is so much easier now with the SK-II Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil.

This clear oil helps me remove me makeup within seconds, leaving it squeaky clean, all ready for my SK-II Facial Treatment Essence after. Not only does it clean fast, my skin feels softer and smoother after every wash and I find that whatever products I put on my face after that, gets absorbed better as my skin shows better results day by day!

So here's an example. I have lipstick, lipgloss, pencil eyeliner, liquid eyeliner and CC Cream drawn on my hand. All it takes is to pump a dollop of the oil and rub in, do not use water yet, simply rub in circular motion and you can see most of the makeup "melting" away.

This is then the time to add a little bit of cold or lukewarm water and continue rub in till the oil is emulsified. It might be a icky yucky colour now, but once you rinse off with cold or lukewarm water, the skin is left clean and smooth...

The best part of it is that the cleansing oil makes it so easy to remove the makeup, I don't even need to rub too hard to remove my makeup. It's almost like massaging my face and the simple wash off cuts my skincare routine time shorter. There is no oily feeling after wash and I can't help touching my face every time I wash my face. LOL!

A simple 3 pumps of the cleansing oil is enough to remove all my makeup.

Overall, I would recommend this cleansing oil for those who want hassle free cleansing and hey, we should pamper ourselves sometimes too right?

[Tried & Tested] 3 Concept Eyes (3CE) REAL SOFT CLEANSING SHERBET

Even before my trip to Korea, I'm already getting all the goodies from there! Here today to introduce is the 3CE REAL SOFT CLEANSING SHERBET. 

3CE or rather 3 CONCEPT EYES is the top hot Korean Beauty brand currently, for its bright hip colours. I've gotten some of those products myself, but the product I'm sharing today is for cleansing. This is the most delicate makeup remover I've ever had!

Once you have opened the packaging, inside is a tub of white soft cream that feels so so so light! I simply use the spatula provided and scoop a spoon of it for the whole face. Then I simply rub that all over my face, concentrating more on the eyes.

But as the Cleansing Sherbet feels so soft, I'm normally using very little force as well, It's as though I'm just lightly brushing my hands over my face. It works like magic, just that small dollop of cleanser and a few rounds of rubbing, my makeup is fully removed! And all you have to do next is to wash your face with lukewarm water and follow with a cleanser, then you are good to go to bed. 

Did I mention how fragrant it is?!

OMG! I literally swear by this, it is the most delicate makeup remover you can find in the market and it removes all types of makeup, be it waterproof or water resistant! It doesn't sting the eyes and definitely on my must-have list when it comes to cleansing!

I like to use this dry, even though you can do it with water, it's very delicate, no tugging of skin is needed. After which, you can use your facial wash and proceed with your routine face regime.

I even used a makeup remover tissue to test how clean it is after using the cleansing liquid. I'm amazed that there is no residue left! This is my favorite makeup remover by far and I love the moisturised bouncy feeling my skin has after using it!

[Tried & Tested] Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System

I recently received the Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System. It's the first time I'm using a brush to clean my face instead of my hands and I can see the difference in that once I started using. The Olay Cleansing Revolution is said to make waves by bringing to life the efficacy of powerful, yet gentle cleansing. Let me show ya.

In the set, there's the handle and a detachable gentle brush head, with 2 AA batteries and a tube of Olay Skin Renewal Cleanser. The batteries are inserted into the bottom of handle, which you rock side to side to remove the battery cover. I assumed this would be easy to do, but I have to say that I was struggling a little with this. The brush head on the other hand is easy to lock into position.

The handle of the device has two buttons; the larger one top turns the device on and off and is also the slower and therefore gentler speed, while the smaller button is the quicker speed, and hence less gentle setting.

The cleaning device cleanses four times better than basic cleansing and with the micro-massaging action cleanses, it will deeply and gently exfoliate your skin to effectively prepare it for your anti-ageing routine. At first I was a little worried about the device scrubbing too hard on my face, but actually with the gentle brushes, I was in fact treated to a facial massage right in my home!

A recent survey conducted by Olay revealed that only 59% of Asian women use a cleanser regularly and 23%, an exfoliator. With this in mind, the Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System has been designed to give women a new fuss-free and effective way to cleanse ageing skin.

So, after applying the Olay Skin Renewal Cleanser on your face (I'm putting more here to show in picture), you start the slightly wet cleansing device all over your face. It's turns in circular motions, 350 times per minutes, reaching the skin’s contours where fingers cannot reach, to gently lift and remove dirt and dead skin from the surface, allowing for a clean, gentle rinse.

The actual Olay Skin Renewal Cleanser is a fine cleanser with extremely fine scrubbing grains in it, in fact, using it with the brush, you barely notice that it is an exfoliator, it is only when you massage it into your face that you realise. 

The cleansing system not only helps cleanse, it also helps exfoliate and even the toughest makeup out there can be removed! However, it is not advisable to use around the eye area and since my makeup is always focused on my eye area, I used it more for cleansing and exfoliate after I remove my makeup the usual conventional way...

My skin is left feeling clean and refreshed every time I use it, prepping the skin to absorb my facial serums and creams faster. I can see the effects of my cream more effectively these days.

All in all, I think that this is an amazing cleansing device which comes at a fantastic price, so if you do not already have a cleaning system, I would recommend it to you!

The Review

Overall, the formula is excellent but for the price, I might have to consider a bit before getting it. It's definitely good to have if you use really waterproof makeup products...

My Review:

Meltie! comes in 3 Melticious flavours - Strawberry, Lemon and Aloe Vera. Nothing different about them, just that they are made with different fruit/plant extracts. I love the smell of the refreshing Lemon, sweet and bright colours just make me happy!

I would totally recommend Meltie! to you guys. It removes makeup (EVEN WATERPROOF/WATER RESISTANT MAKEUP) fast and no hard scrubbing is needed! I originally use, cleansing oil to remove my eye makeup and then wipes for my face, then use a facial cleanser to wash my face. Now, everything is done with just 0.5g of the cream! Come home, rub a little of the cream and Voilah! I'm off to bed ~

And the most important of it all, I have super smooth skin after using it for a week. I'm so totally gona stick to Meltie! for removing makeup and cleansing my face!
