In fact, that made me look uglier. I seemed to be making funny faces when I squinted and most of the time, I strained my eyes so hard, I get headaches by evening. It was definitely not healthy for my eyes, but I had just ignored it until I was invited to go for an eye check.

The Eye Care Professional told me that I haven’t been wearing the right contact lenses to properly correct my Astigmatism and I knew she was right when I went through the eye exam. The eye exam showed that my Astigmatism has increased! The Eye Care Professional was patient with me, tested my eyes and gave me advice on the right way of wearing 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® for ASTIGMATISM. What is Astigmatism?

I've had Astigmatism since childhood and my vision has always been blur, as though I am in some Matrix movie where I'm always seeing doubles. My vision is only clear when I wear my glasses and because of vanity reasons, I do not wear them most of the time.

At the event, Ms. Shirley Loh, Public Professional Affairs Manager for JJVC Singapore and a trained optometrist did a test on blogger William Tan and myself with a on-the-spot eye test. I learnt that I do not have to compromise my vision for beauty and now with the contact lens, I can now flaunt my beauty without having to cover it up with glasses or having to squint when things get blurry!

What I think about the lenses? Super cute! Get them now! I wore them out for almost a whole day, it still feels comfortable. I didn't have to drop any eye drops, my eyes felt moist all day. I must admit the enlarging effect is not so dramatic like those out there, where you can get online, but at least I feels safe wearing them, without the fear of going blind. I think this is good enough for me. With false lashes and some makeup, these lenses will definitely be enhanced further. See the picture below, I love the soft and sweetness I'm exuding! #buaypaiseh
