Sleek Kajal Eyeliner in Nocturnal

Sleek Makeup is no stranger in my cabinet of makeup products. I simply love their eyeshadow palettes and I have them wherever I go. The eyeliner in the box is something new I can add to my collection. It's small and dainty, easy to bring around and I love the strong pigment as eyeliner. It is also very easy to smudge to create a smokey eye effect.

UV Aqua White Starter Kit

My bellabox arrived right when I was stepping out for my flight to Taiwan. When I saw the large UV prints, I knew I had to bring them along on my trip. The starter kit contained the CC cream, Purifying toner and Daily Defence serum.

There are all designed to help “whiten, hydrate, illuminate, tighten and increase skin elasticity”.  I was super glad I had them along with me as the weather in Taiwan was very warm, I needed my defence helpers.

The products are all very light, easily absorbed and it feels non-existence. The toner and serum kept my skin supple while the CC Cream improved my skin's colour and glow. I only needed to have the CC Cream all over my face, with concealer, swipe on some eyeliner and draw my brows. It was sweltering hot in Taiwan and it was advisable to have light makeup, which is also why I simply loved the UV Aqua White series...

Finale Whitening Cream

This skin lightening cream, made with natural herbs is here to make your skin is bikini/swimsuit ready. I'm curious to see its effects, have you guys tried it before?

[What's New] Timotei Relaunches In Singapore

Timotei is back! The brand that all ladies sweared by back in the '80s and '90s has relaunched and is back to with their botanical-based & environmentally-friendly hair products to pamper us ladies.

Held at Backstage Salon, we had a wonderful night of terrarium making, invigorating hair wash and relaxing head massage. Definitely a rewarding and pampering time for the stressed and sickened me...

Reformulated with natural extracts of creamy avocado, almond, sesame and coconut oil, Timotei has also changed a new look. The packaging is now slimmer, taller with a more refreshing look and not forgetting being environmentally friendly. They all uses 100% PET recyclable packaging that is made from 25% recycled material.

After the nice wash, my hair was blown dry and re-styled. I think they have done a great job! My friends were saying I looked younger and refreshing. I've not tried center parting before, what you guys think?

I shall leave you with a short write-up on how to create your very own little Terrarium...

Choose a bottle that you like and lay Gravel, Charcoal, Dried Moss and Soil in that order. Make sure you have each layer flat across and then dig a hole where you want your plant to be, put it in, cover with soil and add in decorative pebbles on top, avoiding the plant. Voila! You are done!

With almost no attention, your terrarium will work as it own self contained environment, simply keep it sealed, water 1 tablespoon of water once every 2-3 months and let it grow on its own! Do not put it near the window or in direct sunlight, have it own your workstation or your bedside table to decorate...

The Body Shop's Nutriganics Drops of Youth

The Body Shop has launched a youth-enhancing concentrate – the Nutriganics Drops of Youth, to combat initial signs of ageing by using the latest in plant stem cell technology. This innovative concentrate helps to enhance surface skin condition, leaving it looking smoother, fresher and healthier.

How to use it?

My Thoughts

The packaging already spells it all for the product and the pipette is not only hygienic but also convenient as it allows the serum to be dispensed in drops. It appears sticky but once I spread it over my face, it glides on smoothly and gets absorbed into the skin within seconds!

As with most of The Body Shop products, I didn’t have to worry about an allergic reaction as besides its natural origins, the Nutriganics Drops of Youth is also silicon and paraben-free, with 20 per cent organic certified ingredients, making it suitable for all skin types.

I use the product twice daily. Once before my makeup and it creates a much better base to apply makeup on as my skin feels more hydrated and smoother. And at night, I apply after cleansing the face, allowing me to wake up to glowing, fresh firm skin. The non-oily, gel-like texture is perfect for our climate.

I recently had an allergic reaction at a facial and seriously, with the religious usage of the Nutriganics Drops of Youth, my skin healed faster and I'm back to the pretty me! :)

Do note: This is a product to prevent aging and fine lines. So I highly recommend this for ladies in the early 20s to begin using this for the long lasting youthful look to delay aging...
